Complaint Feedback Loop
Improve the health of your email program by managing complaints.

Protect your sending reputation
When a user marks your email as “SPAM”, we record those votes in our system, and they can negatively impact your sending reputation. Luckily, Yahoo offers a free Complaint Feedback Loop (CFL) program to help email senders minimize complaints and improve their overall sending reputation.
When you participate in the CFL program, we will forward complaints from our users about emails sent from your organization that they consider to be spam. It is recommended that you use the reports you receive to suppress the recipient from future campaigns, and review your targeting and frequency to reduce complaints in the future.

How it works
The Complaint Feedback Loop program only supports DKIM-signed email and is a domain based service. In order to enroll in the CFL, senders must sign their outbound email with DKIM, so that Yahoo can determine the actual sender of an email.
If a message is signed with a DKIM key that is enrolled in the CFL program, Yahoo sends the enrolled address a report in a format called ARF (Abuse Reporting Format) so that the sender can suppress that recipient from further campaigns.
Getting Started
- Create a dedicated address (e.g. feedbackreports[@]yourdomain.com) to receive and process complaint reports.
- Submit an application for enrollment. An email will be sent to postmaster@(yourdomain.com) with a verification code.
- Enter the code into the application page to complete the enrollment of your domain in the CFL.
